Berlin British School
The Berlin British School was formed in 1994 as an international school, providing education for children at all school levels, from all over the world. A secure, caring, family atmosphere enables pupils to settle quickly, develop self-esteem and respect for each other. The school strives to enable pupils to achieve the highest standards of education.
The Berlin British School e.V is a non profit making association managed by a committee elected by members of the association. The curriculum provides an education based on the ethos and philosophy of the British educational system, while taking due note of the international community which it serves and its geographical location at the heart of Germany. Extra English lessons are provided for children who are acquiring English as a new language. German language teaching is provided for children who are reasonably fluent in English, as well as for native German speakers. Pupils are taught in small groups to ensure rapid attainment of a language level which enables them to take an active part in the classroom.
